Smokey-Eyes . Step by step

1) Groom the brows naturally adding a soft variation of a brown eye shadow color that closely matches the hair color then adding a brow setting gel to hold in place.

2) Add a highlight color on a brow bone with either a cream concealor ( shade lighter than complexion) or a lightly colored eyeshadow to accent the brow bone area.

3) Lay down a neutral color eye primer or bold/dark cream color base that eventually sets on the entire eye lid (not in crease of the eye or brow highlight area)

4) Sweep dark velvet or satin textured eyeshadow or pure pigment color on the entire lid up to the crease over the primer using a soft shadow diffusing brush because it absorbs and deposits the best.

5) on the upper lid, add a dark eye kohl pencil or gel liner in the lash line and smudge slightly with a pencil brush for more intensity at the base of the eye. Do the same to the lower lid section of the eye as well. because the inner rim is usually moist due to the tear ducts. I recommend using the gel liner inside the rim because of its resistance to moisture instead of the kohl pencil which will eventually start to disappear.

6) Again, sweep the dark color to the bottom lid part of the eye, underneath the lashes layering nicely over the soon dryer liner, with a soft thin tapered brush.

7) It should start to look dramatically beautyful and controlled. Sweep a small amount of a bright warm or cool colors in the crease areato pop against the darker colors for contrast.

8) Curl lashes with an eyelash curler and apply an intense voluminous mascara to compliment the depth of the eye color. You can apply false lashes at this time for an extra drama. v 9) set with setting spray for an extra durability throughout the night.
